The musical has a major character who’s not in the film, the big-voiced Lady of the Lake, who was played on Broadway by San Diego-raised Tony-winner Sara Ramirez (of “Grey’s Anatomy”). Playing the role in this production is Mitzi Michaels, who recently appeared in Cygnet Theatre’s “Assassins.”
